January was the month to start new projects. So I started pair of black socks for a friend, 2 shawls for me, 1 sweater for Shaelyn, 1 fair isle hat. What is finished so far are the 2 shawls - They are also in the possiblity of being ripped out. Not happy with either one. All I really want is a large square shawl. Shaelyn's sweater is 1/2 done....this is the next one to be completed. She needs it for school. Goal for February is finish what I started in January. Goal for this year is 12 pairs of socks, a shawl that I like.

I am working of getting my dishcloths made – I seem to be short on these. This is the first year that I have not knit any Christmas stocking.
We have had deer in the yard – they left little presents. Shaelyn and I have seen at least 7 at 3 different times walking around the street. The move fast during the day light hours, and take their time at night. I have camera ready for the next sighting.

Let’s see since last I posted – Phil got a promotion. Yeah! The promotion is in Utah. We moved. We put all the belongings we could into 2 PODS. Great way to move if you don’t have an address. We (Phil, Shaelyn, Bob and me) stayed in an Extended Stay Hotel. This was nice – I was able to cook a meal or 2 and we were able to have our breakfast there. It was hard on Phil all of us in 1 large room – he had to get up at 3:00 am to go to work.
We were able to find a nice house in the city of Pleasant Grove. 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms. The landlord lives just around the corner. There are wonderful views out of every window. We are surrounded by mountains. The house is on the side of a mountain. Got the living room together the first night – had dish come out and turn on the TV. My kitchen is half this size as the last one – so I am having trouble finding a place for everything. The entire house is about 1000 sq ft smaller than the last – it is still a nice house. There is a large yard – it took a full can of gas for Phil to mow it the first time. I am going to check into the lawn service here. Phil is working long hours.

Lionboy:The Truth by Zizou Corder, fun book to listen to. Summer's Path by Scott Blum - hard for me to get into this book. A Loving Scoundrel by Johanna Lindsey. Knitting Projects - finished 1 pair of socks for my friend. Found pattern and bought yarn for baby project. Car sock hasn't moved much - that's why it is the car sock. The 3 color sweater will need to have the bind off undone and lenght added - Shaelyn grew. Knit Picks project 6 socks - 2 done, 1 started (it will be on hold until Tuesday) I will start the 3rd on Monday.
Phil got a promotion so we will be moving - I am excited. I just need some answers - like where and when. Then I can start making more plans. I will be missing all my friends from here.
Shaelyn has her Speech Camp June 21st - 25th. She is so happy! I will be happy too! She learns so much from camp and uses her Dynavox that much more.

Still on a search for an Orthodontist for Shaelyn. It would be nice if the one in Utah would at least email me back. I have a feeling it didn't get past his recepitionist. She was not helping his business!!!! So far nothing in Idaho, Oregon, and Utah. The next state to look at is Colorado. There has to be one somewhere!
